Precision weighing and ergonomics

Special holders in analytical balances allow the weighing of many types of microscale glassware, such as test tubes, flasks, vials and others. Their use is intended to improve ergonomics and minimise the risk of contamination during sample application. The holders enable the microscale glassware to be tilted and thus positioned at the angle required for the application.

Together with the microscale glassware, you will receive draft shields to stabilise the measurement conditions in the weighing chamber and stand to store the holders.

Adjust the Holder to the Capacity

The following loads are used to match the holder to the balance’s capacity:

• The pan without load plate fits balances with a capacity of 41/120 g
• The pan with load plate (included in the kit) fits balances with a capacity of 121/220 g
• The pan with additional load plate fits the other capacities.

Once the appropriately configured holder has been fitted, the balance will operate as it does with the open-work pan, which is standard equipment on the balance.
