The HX7.4 H/Z scale is a device constructed on the basis of a PUE HX7 terminal and a ground-embedded 4-load-cell platform, both manufactured using the AISI 304 stainless steel. The device's high protection class, IP 66 / 69, makes it suitable for use in industry. The four-sensor weighing system ensures accurate weighing regardless of how the load is distributed on the platform, which is particularly important during intensive daily use. The lift-up platform makes it easy to keep the area under the scales clean, whilst the modern weighing terminal enables not only weighing but also dosing, piece counting, labelling and deviation checks. Comfort of operation is guaranteed thanks to a clear-cut menu, and a colour display featuring a 9-diode bar graph blinking red and green when signalling current net mass of a load in reference to the scale range or declared min and max thresholds.

Ergonomics in industry

Housing back is equipped with hermetic communication interfaces such as RS232, RS485, USB, Ethernet, at your disposal there are also digital inputs/outputs and analogue output. This enables cooperation with external devices such as barcode scanners, printers, external displays, control buttons, light signalling towers, other controlling/signalling devices, systems for automatic process control and superior IT systems. With use of the bracket you can either place the indicator at any flat horizontal surface, or fix it to the wall adjusting the tilt respectively to suit your needs.

Databases

The weighing software includes built-in databases used to store information related to scale operation. The most important databases include: products, users, recipes, packaging, customers, and ALIBI memory. Each database has a defined record limit. Database editing is only possible after logging in as an administrator. The system allows: adding new records, editing data, deleting individual entries, deleting the entire database content, and fast searching by name or code. Data can be imported and exported using a USB flash drive. Each database is stored in a separate file. The database system improves the organization of scale operation, automates the weighing and dosing process, and enables fast management of information stored in the device.

Foundation frame included in the set

To install the scale correctly, you must (as the customer) assemble the frame supplied with the unit. To prepare the installation site correctly, please refer to the document ‘Technical documentation’ in the ‘Documentation’ section. The frame for recessing (foundation) is part of the set – you will receive it with the ordered scale.
