Overview
AGV-2 20.5Y Automatic Comparator for Determination of Mass standard's Density and Volume
The AGV-2 20.5Y Automatic Comparator is designed for the determination of density and volume of mass standards in class E1 and lower classes, in accordance with OIML R111. Highest readability and measurement stability in the range from 1 kg to 20 kg are its strengths.

Most Accurate Method for Determining Density
Weighing a mass standard first “in air” and then in a liquid of known density is the most accurate method for determining the density of mass standards. This is used in the AGV comparator.

Automatic 2-Position Magazine
The instrument has an automatic 2-position mass standard magazine and a specially designed feeder for applying and removing mass standards from the magazine. In addition, it is equipped with a circulator eliminating air bubbles.

Self-Centring Pan
The special 220 mm diameter pan minimises eccentricity error and the influence of liquid surface tension.

Anti-Draft Chamber
Increased readability and stability of measurements is ensured by the anti-draft chamber, which protects the measurement results from external influences such as gusts and draughts.

Temperature Measured at Three Points of the Container
The AGV comparator has a high-performance thermometer with a resolution of 0.001°C equipped with three liquid temperature sensors. The measurement carried out at as many as three points in the container (at the bottom, in the middle and near the surface) enables disparities to be noted and, if necessary, the temperature of the liquid in the container to be mixed and equalised. This ensures that the density measurement results obtained will be correct.

Work Most Conveniently
See more and clearer with the 10’ colour touchscreen display. Personalise the home screen for easier access to weighing applications and functions. Assign any function to the IR sensors and operate the terminal without contact.

Computer with Dedicated Software
With the AGV comparator, you receive a computer and density determination software. The comparator software allows the density of mass standards to be determined and the uncertainty to be calculated using A method in accordance with OIML R111. In addition, it allows you to verify the density of liquids.
