Overview
5Y.25.PM.KB Mass Comparator
5Y.PM.KB Manual Mass Comparators enable adjusting mass standards and weights according to OIML (R-111) recommendations. Used in accredited calibration laboratories, they are designed to ensure the traceability of mass measurements and verification of weights, as required by legal metrology. The equipment can be used not only for comparisons, but also for weighing and other related operations that are specific to the PM 5Y series precision balances.

5Y.PM.KB Mass Comparator – a Clever Design
The 5Y.PM.KB mass comparator consists of an electronic module and a precision mechanical measuring system. The aluminium open-work weighing pan has centering holders that facilitate precise weights placement. This solution is particularly helpful when working with large and heavy mass standards.
